1. Introduction

TaskTracker ("we") provides a time-tracking platform for remote teams. The TaskTracker macOS app is an agent for employees; data is processed according to policies configured by your organization (employer).

2. Data we collect

When you log in and start the timer, depending on your organization's policies, we may collect:

• Account information: email, display name, organization, role
• Work time: session start/end times, duration
• Periodic screenshots while the timer is running
• Screen recordings (if enabled)
• Activity level: mouse/keyboard event counts, idle time, activity score — we do not record keystroke content or clipboard data
• Apps and URLs in use (if enabled)
• Device information: device ID for sync

3. How we use data

• Provide time tracking and productivity services for your organization
• Display reports to managers according to role permissions (manager/admin)
• Let you view your personal data in the macOS app

4. Legal basis & consent

Monitoring data is only collected after you complete onboarding and confirm consent in the app. You can withdraw consent or pause monitoring in the app.

5. Data sharing

Data is stored on TaskTracker servers (or hosting we designate) and is only shared with authorized administrators and managers in your organization. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention & deletion

How long data is kept (screenshots, videos) is governed by your organization's retention policy. You can permanently delete your account in TaskTracker macOS → Settings → Delete account.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Screenshot and video files are accessed via time-limited signed URLs.

8. Your rights

• View your personal data in the app (My Data)
• Withdraw monitoring consent
• Delete your account
• Contact your organization or us to request access or deletion of data

9. Children

TaskTracker is not intended for children under 13.
