Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, using the web dashboard, or using the TaskTracker macOS app, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of service

TaskTracker provides tools for tracking work time and activity level and — depending on policies configured by administrators — may include screenshots, video recording, and tracking of apps in use.

3. Account & security

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access
• One account is for one person only (except permitted service accounts)

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineer the software, and to comply with employment laws and data protection regulations in your country.

5. Employee data & consent

The organization (employer) is responsible for clearly informing employees about monitoring. The macOS app requires employees to confirm consent before tracking begins. See the Privacy Policy for data processing details.

6. Billing & cancellation

Paid plans are billed according to published pricing. You may cancel or change plans through the dashboard. Fees paid for the current billing period are non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, TaskTracker is not liable for indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the macOS app or by contacting support.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms and will note the update date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
